I cant upload any of my images or animation to the animation hub or the art portal. I keep getting the "you must upload an image" when i clearly am uploading an image

That's weird, are there no issues with the file type? The Art portal only accepts webp, gif, jpg, and png. While the Movie portal accepts swf, mp4, moc, and wmv.
You should post in the help forum detailing your issue and the files you are trying to upload. Someone should be able to help you there.
